Does anyone go to Towson University Maryland?

Hello I am thinking of transferring to Towson University next spring and I want to know the experience of people who go or went there, how is the social life, sports, etc, tell me about the school. Currently I am in my second semester in UMD College park and its pretty expensive to live here, and Towson is like a 20-30 minute car ride from my mom's home so that is probably the main reason I am thinking of transferring. Also, I am thinking of doing either civil/environmental engineering or architecture (Still undecided), are those programs strong in Towson?
