Psp making awful noise and not reading correctly.?

i recently purchased a psp and several games, all of them except for Monster hunter freedom 2 seems to work just fine. when i put the monster hunter freedom 2 in it makes an awful noise seems like the disk is spinning about 10 times faster than the other games does this for about 20 seconds. then the game starts up once i create the character the game fails to load. e.x. staring at a gray screen for 5 Min (and yes i did do that) then i opened the umd thing and closed it. started loading and made the same awful noise and basically anytime it needs to load you have to open the umd slot and close it. something wrong with my game?
