Is the chicken bad or good some one help?

i took chicken breast out at 7 last night and woke up to my aunt telling me that its bad now i need to know this one thing is the chicken bad and can not be cooked or is he just crazy i really need to know some plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help and the pack of chicken was not open yet
